A one day workshop for experienced climbers wanting to develop or refresh their abseiling and ascending skills. This workshop would be a great way to learn the skills to access more adventurous climbing routes. The day will either run at Tremadog Upper Tier or the Beacon Climbing Center depending on the weather. The course is worth 1 Mountain Training Association CPD point.
 
Some of the skills we aim to cover on the workshop include the following;
 
Different types of abseiling set ups and devices.
How to descend on multipitch climbs.
Abseiling past a knot.
Different types of prusik knot. 
Different set ups for ascending a rope.
